Job Description

Job Title: Summer Research Intern Role Summary: Conduct cutting‑edge vulnerability research and reverse engineering on embedded systems. Build and deploy scalable prototypes, publish findings, and present a final project. Expectations: - Actively pursue a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Ability to secure U.S. citizenship and eligibility for government security clearance. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in live research projects focused on embedded system security. - Design, develop, and deploy scalable, production‑ready systems to solve real‑world problems. - Analyze and reverse‑engineer firmware and hardware to identify vulnerabilities. - Prepare reports and presentations of research results for internal and external audiences. Required Skills: - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (C/C++, C#, Python, Java). - Experience with mobile/embedded development (Android, ARM). - Knowledge of reverse engineering tools (GDB, WinDBG, Ghidra, IDA). - Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP). - Understanding of assembly language (x86, ARM). Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a government security clearance.
