**Job Title**
Forescout Network Subject Matter Expert (SME)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Forescout CounterACT solutions to secure network access across wired, wireless, IoT, OT/ICS, and other environments. Provide expert guidance on policy enforcement, integration, and real‑time visibility while supporting large‑scale, multi‑vendor infrastructures.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders
- Maintain high‑quality documentation and knowledge transfer
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and configure Forescout CounterACT (eyeSegment, eyeSight, eyeControl) to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Develop and manage Network Access Control (NAC) policies for IT, IoT, IoMT, and OT/ICS assets.
- Create granular, dynamic security policies implementing zero‑trust principles and automated ACL assignments.
- Provide high‑level troubleshooting and performance tuning for protocols such as 802.1X, DHCP, HTTPS, TCP, NetFlow.
- Integrate Forescout with switches, routers, wireless controllers, firewalls, SIEMs, ticketing, and vulnerability management platforms via APIs.
- Deliver continuous, agent‑less discovery, classification, and risk assessment of all network assets.
- Produce technical documentation, configuration standards, and training material for client teams.
**Required Skills**
- Deep expertise with Forescout 4D Platform (eyeSegment, eyeSight, eyeControl).
- Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, wireless, network security, and protocols (802.1X, DHCP, NetFlow, etc.).
- Experience implementing NAC, zero‑trust architectures, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to integrate security tools through APIs and orchestrate automated responses.
- Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in hybrid, multi‑vendor, and potentially air‑gapped environments.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred certifications: Forescout Certified Engineer/Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CISSP or equivalent security certification.
