Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (W2)
Role Summary
Lead the analysis, documentation, and refinement of business requirements for IT and operational projects. Act as the primary liaison among business stakeholders, development, QA, and product teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions that optimize processes and support strategic objectives.
Expectations
Deliver comprehensive business specifications, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and manage end‑to‑end requirements processes. Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
2. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
3. Perform gap analyses and recommend solutions aligned with business goals.
4. Initiate and lead process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
5. Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Product, IT, Finance, Operations) to deliver integrated project outcomes.
6. Produce and maintain detailed documentation – BRDs, FRDs, use‑case diagrams, and supporting artifacts.
7. Facilitate workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
8. Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
9. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business needs prior to deployment.
10. Serve as a liaison among business users, developers, and QA to guarantee successful project delivery.
Required Skills
* Business process modeling and data analysis.
* Requirements elicitation and documentation.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication.
* Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
* Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management.
* Ability to create clear presentations and reports.
Required Education & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* Minimum 8 years of Business Analysis experience in IT, Banking, Finance, Consulting, or similar domain.
* Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI‑PBA highly desirable.
Preferred Skills
* Digital transformation or automation project experience.
* SQL or other data querying tools knowledge.
* Exposure to ERP, CRM, or enterprise software systems.
