Staff Product Designer – Dashboard & Internal Tools
Role Summary
Lead end‑to‑end design of Lithic’s B2B dashboard and internal tools, translating complex card‑issuing and payment workflows into intuitive, scalable interfaces for enterprise and startup customers.
Expectations
- Own product vision and design strategy for the dashboard, influencing roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Deliver high‑fidelity, production‑ready designs that align with a consistent design system.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and external customers to iterate on solutions based on research and data.
- Present design concepts to leadership, incorporating feedback and maintaining an iterative improvement loop.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and refine experiences for transaction monitoring, card management, dispute handling, customer support, onboarding, reporting & analytics, and financial ops.
- Transform complex payment data into clear, actionable interfaces for technical and non‑technical users.
- Create reusable design patterns and expand the design system to support multi‑user, multi‑use‑case scenarios.
- Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and validate designs with real customers and internal stakeholders.
- Produce detailed specifications, prototypes, and hand‑off documentation for engineering teams.
- Maintain design quality from concept through deployment and ongoing refinement.
- Champion user‑centered design culture through critique, feedback, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of product design experience in a technology firm, with a portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product work.
- B2B/SaaS background, preferably in fintech, developer tools, or complex enterprise software.
- Systems thinking and scalability mindset for multi‑persona, multi‑use‑case products.
- Expert interaction design: user flows, information architecture, complex workflow mapping.
- Strong visual design craft: typography, layout, color, polished interfaces.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) and prototyping tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Data‑driven, research‑informed design approach.
Required Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). No specific certifications required but familiarity with fintech compliance or API design is a plus.
