Job Description
**Job Title** Devops Engineer – Cloud Security **Role Summary** Responsible for hardening cloud security, automating security checks, and ensuring compliance across multi‑cloud environments. Collaborates with engineering and data science teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows. **Expectations** - Deliver secure, automated solutions for cloud‑based applications. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of security best practices and emerging tools. - Foster a culture of proactive security and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and implement security tooling for codebases in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, Git). - Enforce security standards and compliance across AWS (preferred), Azure, and GCP environments. - Automate security checks within CI/CD to improve developer adoption and pipeline reliability. - Conduct trainings and provide guidance to distributed teams on security best practices. - Build and maintain scripts and utilities that simplify security consumption for developers. - Participate in cross‑team rotations, deployment operations, and incident response activities. **Required Skills** - 3+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevSecOps Engineer. - Proficiency with AWS (preferred) and/or Azure or GCP. - Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Bash. - CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Git, CircleCI); pipeline security integration. - Programming in a modern language – Python (preferred) or Java. - Solid understanding of security principles, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance frameworks. - Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code practices and version control. - Demonstrated ownership, problem‑solving, and communication in distributed environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar are advantageous.
