**Job Title:** DevOps Kubernetes Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes across multi‑cloud environments. Drive migration from on‑premises to cloud, improve system reliability and observability, and enable self‑service DevOps practices for product teams.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver secure, high‑performance infrastructure aligned with product roadmaps.
- Champion automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations teams in an Agile setting.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect, provision, and operate Kubernetes clusters on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform/Ansible.
- Implement and maintain observability stacks (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Sentry).
- Conduct code reviews, design sessions, and troubleshoot cross‑team infrastructure issues.
- Develop internal tools and training material to promote self‑healing, self‑service DevOps culture.
- Lead PoCs and vendor evaluations for third‑party services and tooling.
- Participate in sprint planning, define epics/tasks, and manage technical risks.
**Required Skills:**
- 4+ years experience in cloud‑based DevOps, IT, networking, or software engineering.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes, IAM, advanced networking, and multi‑cloud deployments.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, and shell scripting; comfortable with rapid prototyping.
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Loki, Tempo, Mimir.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, reliability, availability, and performance engineering.
- Agile methodology experience; ability to manage multiple projects and identify technical risks.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills; ability to train and mentor peers.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Security, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Engineer) are preferred but not mandatory.
