**Job Title** Senior Project Manager **Role Summary** Lead the planning, execution and delivery of research, innovation and industrial collaboration projects. Drive business planning, market assessment and funding proposal development to support commercialization strategy. **Expectations** - Own project schedules, stakeholder coordination and deliverable timelines. - Generate status reports, manage budgets, procurement and compliance with funding schemes. - Facilitate partnership engagement and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** - Coordinate project activities, meetings and milestones. - Track progress, prepare periodic status reports. - Manage budgets, procurement and ensure compliance with UK/EU funding regulations. - Liaise with academic and industrial partners to maintain smooth project delivery. - Contribute to business planning, market assessment and funding proposal preparation. - Support internal communication and process improvement initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong organisational and time‑management abilities. - Excellent communication and written report‑writing skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, JIRA). - Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Knowledge of research, innovation or engineering project environments. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or related discipline (Master’s preferred). - Experience with UK or EU‑funded projects (Innovate UK, Horizon Europe) is an advantage. - Project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) is advantageous but not mandatory.
