Product Owner Safe Assurance F/H

Job Description

Job Title: Product Owner – SAFe Assurance (F/M) Role Summary: Lead the prioritization and delivery of insurance product features within a SAFe agile ecosystem. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and certification owners to maximize value for end‑users and ensure alignment with strategic insurance objectives. Expactations: * Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring continuous value delivery. * Drive the product vision and strategy for the personal insurance domain. * Commit to SAFe practices, including PI planning, Inspect & Adapt cycles, and cross‑train coordination. Key Responsibilities: * Prioritize and groom the product backlog, maintaining focus on business value. * Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters, System Architects, and engineering squads to resolve dependencies and unblock teams. * Manage inter‑team dependencies across multiple SAFe trains. * Write and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and acceptance tests. * Conduct stakeholder workshops, demos, and product reviews. * Preserve regular updates of the backlog and backlog health metrics. * Coordinate with other Product Owners within the train for alignment and shared learning. Required Skills: * Minimum 5 years product ownership experience in personal insurance (health, savings, pension, policy management, claims, etc.). * Proven SAFe experience and SAFe certification. * Strong technical acumen – previous roles as developer or technical lead preferred. * Mastery of Agile frameworks (Scrum, PSPO) and scaling (SAFe). * Project management knowledge of PMP (PMI), CMMI, PRINCE2; certification advantageous. * Excellent written and spoken English; French familiarity a plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, or equivalent project‑management tools. * High interpersonal skills, customer focus, analytical thinking, and teamwork. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field. * SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or equivalent SAFe certification. * PMP, PRINCE2 or CMMI certification desired.
