Job Description
Job title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer Role Summary: Build, deploy, and maintain production‑grade AI/ML solutions that power legal and medical SaaS platforms. Translate business requirements into scalable machine‑learning models, integrate NLP capabilities, and ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards. Expectations: - Deliver end‑to‑end AI products in a fully remote, collaborative environment. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. - Adhere to MLOps best practices for versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD. - Continuously research emerging AI tools and frameworks for applicability to regulated industries. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop machine‑learning models (classification, summarization, entity extraction, embeddings, LLMs). - Deploy models via Azure cloud services, integrate with existing platforms, and build automation workflows. - Monitor performance, optimize accuracy, and maintain system reliability. - Work with data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to transition prototypes to production. - Identify opportunities for automation and innovation across the organization. - Stay current on AI trends and evaluate their feasibility for legal/medical services. - Collaborate across cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and compliance requirements. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, scikit‑learn. - Strong NLP expertise (summarization, entity extraction, classification, embeddings, LLMs). - Experience deploying models to Azure cloud. - Familiarity with MLOps: model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent problem‑solving and independent remote work skills. - Superior communication and stakeholder management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. - 3+ years of AI/ML engineering experience building production‑ready systems. - Certifications in relevant AI/ML platforms or Azure cloud services are preferred.
