Job Description
**Job Title**: Business Development Representative **Role Summary**: Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth for a premium HVAC manufacturer in North America by targeting, securing, and expanding relationships with dealers across Ontario. Works remotely but travels up to 4 days per week to engage clients and support sales strategy execution. **Expectations**: - Achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets and market share goals. - Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates. - Deliver accurate sales data and insights to leadership. **Key Responsibilities**: - Identify and qualify new dealer prospects; develop tailored proposals and product presentations. - Manage and grow existing dealer accounts, addressing needs and ensuring solution fit. - Collaborate with North American and European sales teams to align strategies and share insights. - Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. - Travel within Ontario (up to 4 days/week) to conduct client meetings and industry events. - Record all activity, pipeline, and performance metrics in the CRM system. - Generate reports and analysis to inform decision‑making. **Required Skills**: - 2+ years of B2B business development or account management experience, ideally in HVAC, commercial, or industrial markets. - Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets; strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present complex solutions to diverse audiences. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating cross‑functionally. - Proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). - No additional certifications required.
