**Job Title:** Project Operations & Business Performance Lead **Role Summary** Leads end‑to‑end design and implementation of project, program, and portfolio governance and tooling frameworks. Acts as the bridge between delivery teams, finance, and analytics, ensuring adoption of new processes and tools, and maintaining operational excellence and commercial discipline. **Expectations** - Deliver governance, tooling, and commercial reporting frameworks on schedule and within budget. - Achieve measurable improvements in process adherence, data visibility, and reporting efficiency. - Maintain high team engagement and support continuous development of junior analysts. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Governance Framework Design** – Develop and roll out standardized processes for project initiation, tracking, and reporting; create adoption roadmaps for project teams. 2. **Tooling Architecture** – Build and optimize tool structures (e.g., Smartsheets, Deltek, Looker); ensure data integrity across dashboards, reports, and workflows; lead ongoing process improvements. 3. **Commercial & Financial Management** – Oversee project intake, invoicing, receivables, and cash‑flow forecasting; present rolling forecasts, variance‑to‑budget analyses, and pipeline insights to leadership. 4. **Change Control Management** – Define and administer monthly change approval processes for scope and financial adjustments; collaborate with Project Leads to enforce contractual terms. 5. **Data & Reporting Leadership** – Supervise junior reports/Data Analyst; build, maintain, and improve dashboards for performance monitoring; translate insights into actionable recommendations. 6. **Portfolio Oversight** – Monitor schedule, budget, and resource health; identify risks and variances; partner with leads to resolve issues and enforce commercial/governance parameters. **Required Skills** - Proven experience establishing and executing governance or delivery frameworks in consultancies or technical services. - Advanced proficiency in project tooling (Smartsheets, Deltek, Looker) and automation of reporting environments. - Strong commercial acumen: invoicing, forecasting, cash‑flow, and budget variance analysis. - Leadership experience managing analysts or dashboard developers. - Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to operate at strategic and operational levels. - Proficiency in data analysis, BI tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. - Preferred certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification; Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent financial credential is an advantage.
