Job Description
**Job title:** Head of Account Management **Role Summary:** Lead and scale the account management function, driving revenue growth and customer retention through strategic account development, upsell, and cross‑sell activities. Manage and mentor a high‑performing team, collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver cohesive client experiences, and oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and forecasting. **Expectations:** - Achieve revenue targets from existing accounts through strategic upsell/cross‑sell. - Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates. - Build and sustain a culture of ownership, growth mindset, and collaboration within the team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute the overall account management strategy aligned with business goals. - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and coordinate with Customer Success. - Define KPIs, performance metrics, account plans, and execution playbooks. - Maximise expansion potential by aligning customer adoption plans with CSM success plans. - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Services to ensure a unified client experience. - Own revenue targets for existing portfolios and deliver strategic upsell/cross‑sell. - Support contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing strategies. - Prepare accurate forecasts and performance reports. - Allocate resources efficiently across accounts to balance profitability and service quality. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years in account management or client services, 3+ years in a senior leadership role. - Proven track record of managing high‑value client relationships and driving revenue growth. - Strong commercial acumen, contract management, and negotiation experience. - Excellent leadership, team development, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to set and evaluate KPIs, forecast, and prioritize resource allocation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). - Relevant certifications in account management, sales, or customer success are advantageous.
