Job Description
Job title: Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Design, deploy, and support Azure‑based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments. Maintain Windows domain services, Office 365, corporate messaging, and virtualization hosts. Provide Level 3 support, documentation, and project assistance while ensuring high availability and adherence to ITIL/ITSM processes. Expactations: • Deliver secure, resilient cloud solutions that enable business continuity. • Demonstrate industry best practices, maintain operational documentation, and act as an internal IT partner. • Participate in a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation with flexible hours. Key Responsibilities: • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services. • Maintain Windows Domain Services, Active Directory, GPOs, and Office 365. • Support corporate messaging, data management, WAN, and virtualization platforms. • Create and update system documentation. • Follow standard operating procedures, security policies, and industry best practices. • Ensure maximum uptime for supported systems. • Provide Level 3 support for system and cloud incidents, especially P1 events. • Recommend and implement enhancements to existing cloud environments. • Support project delivery and implementation plans as requested. • Participate in a 24 × 7 on‑call rotation and maintain flexible working hours. Required Skills: • 2‑5 years of experience in enterprise Azure cloud environments. • Proficiency in Windows Domain Services, Active Directory, GPO, Office 365, and Azure virtualization. • Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes. • Experience designing and implementing cloud/managed‑service solutions. • Excellent communication, organizational, and independent work skills. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and emerging technologies. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ‑104, DP‑203) preferred but not mandatory.
