**Job Title**
Student Life Camp Staff – 2026 (Returning Staff)
**Role Summary**
Serve as a key member of the Student Life Camp team, providing leadership and support across worship, recreation, mission outreach, logistics, and administrative functions. Responsibilities vary by squad or coordinating role but all focus on fostering a safe, engaging, and faith‑centered environment for students and children.
**Expectations**
- Current college student with at least one year of enrollment **or** age 18 by May 9 2026.
- Demonstrated passion for ministry and service.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and ability to adhere to Christian values.
- Completion of required crew‑specific training or experience (1–2 years Student Life experience preferred for many leadership roles).
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Squad Leadership:** Facilitate daily recreation, worship devotions, small‑group Bible studies, and community-building activities.
- **Mission & Connect Squads:** Equip groups for service projects, support leaders, and create purposeful challenges that build trust and lasting memories.
- **Store Management:** Oversee inventory, merchandising, and daily store operations.
- **Hospitality & Housing:** Arrange meeting spaces, welcome guests, and assign room accommodations.
- **Office & Production Coordination:** Lead office staff, manage production teams (lighting, audio, video), and ensure smooth execution of worship services.
- **Event & Worship Leadership:** Plan events, oversee worship direction, and lead worship teams on instruments and vocals.
- **Mission & Policy Implementation:** Organize mission details, prepare leaders for community engagement, and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- **Content Creation:** Capture and edit photos/Videos for camp promotion and leader sharing.
- **Kids Acting:** Perform scripted dramas, spoken word, and comedic sketches to engage campers with biblical truth.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership and facilitation of group activities
- Strong communication (verbal, written)
- Basic technical proficiency: lighting rigs, audio systems, video playback, and/or Ableton Live
- Inventory and logistics management
- Conflict resolution and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work flexibly (different shifts, weekends, long days)
- Theological knowledge related to biblical teaching and worship
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum of one year of college enrollment **or** age 18 by specified date.
- 1–2 years of prior Student Life experience (preferred for leadership/production roles).
- No specific degree mandatory; certifications in audio/lighting production are a plus.
