Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst Role Summary Business Analyst responsible for bridging business and technical teams, managing stakeholder expectations, documenting and improving processes, and supporting project delivery in a law firm environment. Expectations - Deliver clear business cases and benefits analyses for new initiatives. - Translate technical requirements for non‑technical audiences. - Mentor junior analysts and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Serve as the initial point of contact to capture and manage stakeholder requirements. - Document current (“As‑Is”) processes, design future (“To‑Be”) processes, and identify gaps. - Create use cases, user stories, and activity diagrams. - Develop functional requirement documents and support testing phases. - Recommend and support system solutions, including document assembly tools. - Assist in research and development of system solutions. - Collaborate with the Project Delivery Lead to enhance the Business Analysis framework. Required Skills - Minimum 2 years of Business Analysis experience. - Formal Business Analysis qualification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent). - Proficiency in use cases, user stories, and activity diagrams. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. - Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Experience with Microsoft Office and document assembly tools. - Familiarity with PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project delivery methodologies. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field. - Accredited Business Analysis qualification (CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or equivalent).
