Job Title: Middle Office Software Developer Role Summary: Develop, enhance, and automate technology solutions that support middle‑office operations for a growing hedge fund. Deliver code, design business cases, and collaborate with trading operations to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency. Expectations: - Work in a high‑intensity, fast‑growth environment. - Translate business needs into scalable, maintainable software. - Provide data‑driven justification for technology investments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, test, and deploy software components that integrate with trading ops tech stacks. - Automate reporting, risk monitoring, and other middle‑office workflows. - Build compelling business cases for new tools and architectural changes. - Collaborate with traders, ops, and compliance teams to capture requirements. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and performance tuning. Required Skills: - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, C#, Java). - Experience with database design, SQL, and data‑integration pipelines. - Strong understanding of trading operations, risk, and compliance data flows. - Ability to write clean, testable code and maintain version control (Git). - Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Effective communication and stakeholder management. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Certifications in software development or finance technology (preferred but not mandatory).
