Job Description
Job Title: Business Development Representative Role Summary: Drive revenue growth by generating, qualifying, and nurturing sales leads across Canada, acting as the initial contact for prospects in sectors such as retail, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and education. Expectations: - Consistently achieve lead generation targets and maintain a robust, high‑quality pipeline. - Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment with sales priorities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prospect identification and proactive outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and referrals. 2. Qualify leads based on industry relevance, project scope, and readiness for sales discussion. 3. Conduct account research to map stakeholders, project opportunities, and organizational structures. 4. Schedule and confirm discovery meetings for senior sales representatives. 5. Assist proposal preparation: gather client materials, populate templates, and feed data into quoting tools. 6. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records in CRM; segment leads by stage, source, industry, and region. 7. Follow up on marketing campaigns, re‑engage content downloaders and event attendees. 8. Provide weekly activity and performance reports; communicate insights to sales and marketing. Required Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication, bilingual (English & French) preferred. - Self‑motivated, results‑focused, with the ability to work independently and within a team. - Proficiency in CRM systems and data management best practices. - Excellent research, organizational, and time‑management abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. - CRM certification (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
