Job Description

Job title: Legal Engineer Associate – UK Role Summary: Serve as a bridge between legal practice and AI-driven product teams, enabling the deployment and optimisation of Legora’s legal‑tech platform through client pilots, use‑case evaluation, and user‑feedback translation. Expectations: 0‑2 years of legal experience, Bachelor of Law (2:1) or equivalent, strong analytical and communication skills, curiosity about AI and prompt engineering, ability to thrive in a fast‑moving environment. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate client‑facing pilots, onboarding, and training sessions to maximise platform adoption. - Design, implement, and evaluate use cases (e.g., contract review, legal research, drafting) that demonstrate the value of AI in real legal workflows. - Capture and analyse user insights, converting findings into concise, actionable product improvement recommendations. - Author and maintain best‑practice documentation and internal playbooks for scalable AI deployment in legal teams. - Collaborate with Legal Engineers, Customer Success, and Product teams to iterate on feature development and workflow automation. Required Skills - Bachelor of Law (2:1) or comparable legal qualification. - 0‑2 years of practical legal experience (trainee, paralegal, etc.). - Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient at translating legal and technical concepts across audiences. - Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate AI outputs critically. - Basic familiarity with AI concepts and willingness to experiment with prompt engineering. - Tech‑curious but not required to code; comfortable engaging with product features and automation tools. - Adaptable, proactive, and skilled at bringing structure to ambiguous, high‑velocity projects. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor of Law (LLB) with a minimum 2:1 grade or equivalent legal degree. No additional certifications required.
