Job Description
**Job Title:** Site Reliability Engineer **Role Summary:** Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of production and development environments. Partner with engineering teams to deliver data‑driven frameworks, automation, and self‑service tooling that accelerate high‑quality software delivery. **Expectations:** - Operate independently with strong ownership and proactive incident prevention. - Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and support a cloud‑native transformation. - Maintain a growth mindset, continuously improving processes and tooling. **Key Responsibilities:** - Guarantee stability and availability of all platforms (production & dev). - Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions. - Conduct root‑cause analysis and lead post‑incident reviews. - Develop automation, runbooks, and self‑service tools to drive operational excellence. - Support migration to containerization and cloud‑native technologies (Azure, Kubernetes). - Advise development teams on environment usage and resilience engineering practices. **Required Skills:** *Technical* - Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes. - Proficiency in container technologies and orchestration. - Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Octopus Deploy, GitLab, Azure DevOps). - Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible). - Familiarity with observability stacks (logging, metrics, tracing). - Knowledge of Windows Server, ASP.NET, SQL; .NET Core a plus. *Soft* - Self‑driven, proactive, and accountable. - Strong written and verbal communication in English; Dutch optional. - Collaborative team player with ability to influence cross‑functional groups. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are preferred but not mandatory.
