Vice President, Physical Security Risk
**Role Summary**
Senior client‑facing leadership role within a global risk advisory firm. Drives the design, delivery and execution of physical security and integrated cyber‑physical risk strategies for C‑suite clients, primarily Fortune 100 CEOs. Develops custom roadmaps, oversees cross‑functional workstreams, and establishes enduring trust‑based relationships that translate security solutions into business value.
**Expectations**
- Lead client engagements from scoping through implementation, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior executives, translating complex threat intelligence into actionable strategy.
- Consistently achieve measurable improvements in clients’ physical and cyber‑security posture, safety compliance, and crisis readiness.
- Build and maintain long‑term partnerships that position the firm as a strategic advisor.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in emerging security trends and regulatory requirements (e.g., DHS Safety Act).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver physical security assessments, gap analyses and roadmap programs; advise on risk mitigation and defense measures.
- Provide expertise on emergency management, crisis response and executive protection programs, tailored to client risk appetite.
- Design, manage, and report on workstreams: define timelines, deliverables, and progress to account teams, clients, and vendors.
- Conduct research on evolving threats, technology advances and industry best practices; disseminate findings to client technical leaders.
- Translate client objectives into innovative security solutions that advance, expedite, and multiply business value.
- Build and nurture long‑term, trust‑based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Deep knowledge of physical and cyber‑security risk management, vulnerability assessment, and threat mitigation.
- Expertise in DHS Safety Act, OSHA, NFPA, and other relevant safety standards.
- Strong program and project management skills; adept at defining scopes, schedules and deliverables.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing CEOs and board members.
- Strategic thinking with ability to embed security into business objectives.
- Proven ability to research and integrate emerging security technologies and methodologies.
- Leadership in client relationship management and cross‑functional team coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Masters preferred).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Valid security or law‑enforcement credentials highly valued (e.g., US Secret Service, FBI, NYPD).
- Ongoing professional development reflected in up‑to‑date certifications and training.
