Aseptic QA Line Technology - Nights
Job Description
**Job Title:** Aseptic QA Line Technician – Night Shift **Role Summary:** Perform real‑time quality assurance testing and documentation for juice, beverage, and water products on an aseptic production line. Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory (FDA, SQF), and customer specifications through analytical, sensory, and microbial testing, and support line operations during the night shift. **Expectations:** - Night shift: 6 pm – 6 am, 12‑hour 2‑2‑3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on). - Accurate, timely recording of test results in QAD/real‑time systems. - Proactive identification and communication of quality issues. - Adherence to safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct standardized analytical tests (pH, TA, vitamin C, Brix, color, clarity, turbidity, viscosity) on raw material, bulk, and finished goods. - Perform sensory evaluations (flavor, odor, visual) at blending and final product stages. - Execute pre‑operational line verifications, line clearances, and hourly quality checks (analytical, labeling, packaging). - Record, review, and release product data per procedures; generate OOS, NCR, and deviation documentation. - Perform routine microbiology testing of raw materials, bulk, and finished products. - Support environmental monitoring, CCP verification, and response to food safety incidents. - Place items on QA hold, evaluate disposition, and coordinate material rejection with QA/Production managers. - Calibrate and log laboratory and floor instrumentation as required. - Provide QA presence for problem‑solving, rework, downtime activities, and special projects. - Participate in employee training and maintain documentation for audits. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in analytical and microbiology laboratory techniques. - Strong attention to detail and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. - Effective verbal and written communication; ability to document findings clearly. - Problem‑solving aptitude: data collection, fact establishment, conclusion drawing. - Basic computer literacy (QAD or similar ERP, MS Office). - Ability to work independently and train/co‑coach team members. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. - 1–3 years relevant experience in food/beverage manufacturing, QA, or laboratory setting (minimum three months in manufacturing). - Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in Food Science, Microbiology, General Science, or related field. - Preferred: Experience with GMP, SQF, FDA regulations, and microbiology lab methods.

Conduct standardized analytical tests (pH, TA, vitamin C, Brix, color, clarity, turbidity, viscosity). 2. Perform sensory evaluations (flavor, odor, visual) during blending and final product stages. 3. Sample and test bulk/raw materials; release or hold products per procedure. 4. Perform additional duties as required by the QA Supervisor. **Required Skills:** - Analytical laboratory skills (pH, Brix, vitamin C, titratable acidity, viscosity, color, clarity). - Sensory analysis proficiency. - Microbiology testing knowledge (culture methods, identification of common foodborne organisms). - Proficient in QA data entry and record‑keeping systems (Real‑Time, QAD). - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues; data‑driven problem solving. - Detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking, and independent work capability. - Computer literate; familiar with MS Office and QA software. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. - 1–3 years of relevant experience in food or beverage manufacturing; 3 months of manufacturing exposure. - Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in General Science, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field. ---
