Job Description
Job title: Full Stack Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop user‑facing booking applications and backend services, ensuring high availability and real‑time integration with airline reservation systems such as Sabre and Amadeus. Expectations: Deliver end‑to‑end features, maintain 99.99% uptime, and collaborate across product, operations, and airline partners in a fast‑paced, growth‑stage environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy responsive front‑end components for booking experiences. - Build and maintain scalable APIs and database services that interface with airline systems. - Ensure data integrity, performance, and low latency for high‑volume transaction processing. - Write automated tests, perform code reviews, and manage CI/CD pipelines. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and respond to outages to meet uptime targets. - Work closely with product managers and airline partners to capture requirements and iterate quickly. Required Skills: - Proficiency in a modern front‑end framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and TypeScript. - Strong back‑end experience with Node.js, Python, or Java and RESTful or GraphQL APIs. - Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data stores. - Knowledge of integrating with third‑party reservation APIs (Sabre, Amadeus, etc.). - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). - Solid understanding of CI/CD, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
