**Job title:** Financial Analyst **Role Summary:** Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Build and maintain models, dashboards, and reporting tools. Verify revenue and expense allocations, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to business partners. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports. - Collaborate with finance leaders to finalize budgets and forecasts. - Maintain high detail orientation and manage multiple priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Partner with finance leadership on annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. 2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance reports. 3. Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools. 4. Audit revenue and expense allocations, investigate variances, and present findings. 5. Provide financial insights and recommendations to cross‑functional teams. 6. Support accounting and finance projects and process improvement initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data modeling). - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Effective written and verbal communication; ability to present data clearly. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Curiosity, problem‑solving mindset, and drive for quality. **Preferred Skills:** - SQL query experience for data extraction and analysis. - Familiarity with BI/data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial reporting. - Ability to balance independent work with collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, or related field. - 1–2+ years of professional finance or accounting experience (internship experience acceptable). **Certifications:** - Professional designations (e.g., CPA, CFA, BBA) are a plus but not required.
