Job Description: Job title: Electrical Engineer Role Summary: Lead the electrical engineering design, construction, and commissioning of hyperscale data centre projects, providing technical solutions, quality assurance, and value engineering to meet client and regulatory requirements. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality electrical design and documentation for large‑scale data centres. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and sustainability goals. - Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and review electrical design deliverables, including technical submittals, coordination drawings, and BIM models. - Lead pre‑construction engineering activities and support construction teams offshore, addressing technical queries via RFI. - Drive commissioning strategies, troubleshooting, and post‑commissioning reviews. - Identify and implement Sustainable and Value Engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. - Maintain procurement processes and audit trails for electrical equipment and services. - Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define requirements and commercial implications. Required Skills: - Strong technical proficiency in electrical engineering for data centre infrastructure. - Experience with Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM360/BIMCollab, and MS Office Suite. - Knowledge of applicable Design Guides, Codes of Practice, IS/BS Regulations, EN and IEC Standards. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and independent decision‑making. - Proactive mindset with a focus on quality, cost control, and sustainability. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 3–5 years in engineering and construction industry, preferably data centre projects. - Professional registration in electrical engineering or progression toward registration.
