Job Description: Job Title: Shopify Developer Role Summary: Senior Shopify developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performance storefronts for leading e‑commerce brands. Handles end‑to‑end development, testing, QA, and continuous improvement of engineering practices within a remote, text‑first environment. Expectations: - Minimum 4 years of Shopify development experience (Shopify 2.0 + Liquid). - Proficiency in JavaScript; experience with React.js, Next.js, & Express.js is a bonus. - Self‑taught, entrepreneurial mindset, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively. - Strong written & verbal communication, organized, and strategic thinker. - Desire to grow into a leadership role and contribute to impactful products. Key Responsibilities: - Build, customize, and deploy Shopify 2.0 storefronts. - Write clean, well‑tested code and maintain version control in GitHub. - Conduct and support QA/testing to ensure reliability and performance. - Collaborate with senior developers to refine engineering practices and scalability. - Scale e‑commerce sites, integrating third‑party apps and APIs. - Maintain documentation and knowledge bases.
