Job Description
**Job Title** Cybersecurity Practice Manager – Network & Edge Security **Role Summary** Lead the Firewall consulting practice as a technical leader and people manager. Oversee delivery standards, mentor consultants, and drive high‑quality client engagements while acting as a billable resource. **Expectations** - Maintain current, documented methodologies and engagement processes. - Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations and SOW requirements. - Participate directly in client engagements to guarantee technical excellence. - Provide sales enablement support for Network & Edge Security offerings. - Manage subcontractor relationships and forecast resourcing needs. **Key Responsibilities** - Serve as primary leader of the Firewall practice; collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and daily operations. - Document, update, and enforce engagement methodologies across all projects. - Review and approve project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer expectations. - Participate in client calls, on‑site meetings, and final presentations to ensure satisfaction. - Monitor and evaluate consultant performance; maintain data for reviews and development. - Collaborate with Practice Directors on staffing decisions that align skills, goals, and client needs. - Ensure consultants have necessary resources and delivery plans; mentor them through engagements. - Facilitate annual and pre‑engagement training plans; manage consultant utilization and bench time. - Conduct semi‑annual performance reviews focused on development, training, and career growth. - Provide technical expertise and enable sales teams: create/present pre‑sales materials, battle cards, brochures, and website content. - Support Account Managers with client interactions, scoping, and SOW review. - Contribute to sales training materials and reusable deliverables. - Identify and manage subcontractor resources; create SOWs and coordinate with Delivery Management. - Track project pipeline to forecast skill needs and plan resourcing. **Required Skills** - Leadership and team development. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to interface with clients at all levels. - Expertise in firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, etc.). - Experience managing professional services teams in high‑growth environments. - Project quality assurance and client satisfaction focus. - Regulatory framework knowledge (HIPAA, HITECH, FISMA, NIST CSF, GDPR, MITRE ATT&CK). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in STEM, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 7 years of information security experience, with 3‑5 years managing professional services teams. - 3‑5 years of cybersecurity project experience (risk, compliance, threat management, digital resilience). - 5‑7 years of experience with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HITECH, FISMA, NIST CSF, GDPR, MITRE ATT&CK). - CISSP or other relevant cybersecurity certifications preferred. ---
