Job Description: Job title: Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack Role Summary: Experienced full‑stack developer to shape and own the core technology platform (member, handyperson, and internal “Honey Homes OS” applications). Drive product direction, architecture, and engineering culture in a fast‑moving, high‑trust startup environment. Deliver high‑quality features that impact member acquisition, engagement, and operational efficiency. Expactations: - Ship robust backend, web, and mobile features within the first 6 months. - Build internal tooling that improves operational speed and accuracy. - Establish strong cross‑functional relationships to gather feedback and resolve issues quickly. - Contribute to the evolution of engineering processes and team culture. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack services using TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Google Cloud. - Deliver end‑to‑end product features from concept through production deployment. - Create and iterate on internal platforms/tools that support nationwide operations. - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical roadmap planning. - Collaborate with product, operations, and design teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear solutions. - Mentor junior engineers and help define engineering best practices. Required Skills: - 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping full‑stack applications. - Proficiency in TypeScript, React (or comparable front‑end framework), Node.js/Express (or similar back‑end), PostgreSQL, Docker, and cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud). - Strong problem‑solving ability in ambiguous, high‑velocity settings. - Demonstrated ownership, autonomy, and ability to deliver features rapidly without sacrificing quality. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to balance short‑term delivery with long‑term architectural integrity. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No specific certifications required; relevant cloud or dev‑ops certifications are a plus.
