**Job Title:** Student Activities Development Coordinator **Role Summary:** Coordinate and administer the operations of student groups and societies, ensuring inclusive, well‑managed environments. Oversee financial processes, membership systems, and provide frontline support to students, fostering growth and active participation within the student community. **Expectations:** - Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. - Deliver high‑quality customer service with clear, professional communication. - Maintain accurate data and proficiently use administrative systems. - Show genuine passion for student development and inclusive engagement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer and reconcile student group finances, processing budgets and expense claims. - Manage the membership database, ensuring up‑to‑date records and smooth registration processes. - Respond promptly to student inquiries and provide guidance on society operations. - Support the growth and development of societies through training, resources, and event coordination. - Produce regular reports on financial status, membership metrics, and activity outcomes. - Uphold university and union policies, promoting a democratic and inclusive culture. **Required Skills:** - Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Customer‑service orientation with a professional demeanor. - Proficiency in data entry, spreadsheet software, and administrative platforms. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. - Experience or familiarity with student‑led organisations in higher education (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum: Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Education, Student Affairs, or related). - Demonstrated experience in administrative or student‑support roles; formal certifications are not mandatory but relevant training (e.g., customer service, financial administration) is advantageous.
