**Job Title**
IT Field Engineer
**Role Summary**
On‑site IT specialist responsible for administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory (AD & Azure AD), network infrastructure, 3CX VoIP systems, hardware troubleshooting, and virtualization platforms. Provides technical support, configuration, and maintenance across multiple client sites while ensuring security and performance standards.
**Expectations**
- Fluency in French and strong proficiency in Dutch.
- Excellent client‑facing communication and teamwork skills.
- Self‑sufficient, logical, and continuously learning.
- Possess a Class B driving licence; travel to client locations as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer Microsoft 365 environments: user management, security policies, MFA, email settings, and console operations.
- Manage on‑premises and hybrid AD/Azure AD: account provisioning, GPO, Azure AD Connect, SSO, access rights.
- Configure and maintain network gear (switches, VLANs, DHCP, DNS) and perform connectivity tests.
- Deploy and configure 3CX IP‑telephony solutions, including SBC, extensions, and call routing.
- Diagnose and repair hardware components on PCs, laptops, servers, printers, and storage devices.
- Set up, operate, and monitor virtual environments (Proxmox, ESXi, Hyper‑V); create VMs, snapshots, and storage pools.
- Develop and maintain scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks; apply security best practices.
**Required Skills**
- Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
- Active Directory & Azure AD (hybrid) management.
- Network configuration: switching, VLAN, DHCP, DNS.
- 3CX VoIP system deployment and management.
- Hardware troubleshooting across PCs, servers, peripherals.
- Virtualization platforms: Proxmox, ESXi, Hyper‑V.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash (Linux optional).
- Basic Linux system knowledge a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft 365/Azure AD, CCNA/CCNP, VCP, VMWare) are an advantage but not mandatory.
