Job Description
**Job Title** Sales Development Representative **Role Summary** Hybrid sales & business development role focused on the beef and dairy farming markets. Responsible for qualifying inbound leads, conducting outbound prospecting, researching farm operations, maintaining CRM data, scheduling demos, and supporting dealer engagement and territory growth plans. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed lead response time, qualified lead, and meeting‑schedule KPIs - Demonstrate self‑motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team - Contribute to quarterly EOS Rocks and territory growth strategies **Key Responsibilities** 1. Qualify inbound leads from marketing, digital campaigns, dealer referrals, live chat, and events. 2. Execute outbound prospecting via phone, email, trade shows, digital tools, and occasional on‑farm visits. 3. Research and map dairy and beef operations to assess fit for products. 4. Log and maintain accurate CRM data, documenting every touchpoint and interaction. 5. Schedule meetings and product demos for sales representatives, territory managers, and nutritionists. 6. Track and report KPIs including lead response time, qualified leads generated, and meetings scheduled. 7. Support dealer engagement by identifying regional opportunities and monitoring competitive activity. 8. Participate in early‑stage conversations with high‑value prospects. 9. Contribute to quarterly EOS Rocks and territory growth plans with the Sales Leader. **Required Skills** - 2‑4 years of experience in sales or business development (agriculture, B2B, or industrial sectors). - Proficiency with CRM tools and AI platforms. - Ability to manage high volumes of activity across multiple channels. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and excellent time‑management. - Self‑motivated and capable of working independently as well as within a team. - Knowledge of beef and dairy farm operations (asset). - Bilingual (English/French/Spanish) is an asset. - Familiarity with farm equipment (asset). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field is preferred. - No mandatory certifications, but familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., EOS, AI‑driven prospecting) is advantageous.
