**Job Title:** Confirmed Business Manager – Building Energy Efficiency
**Role Summary:**
Provides comprehensive technical, economic, contractual, and regulatory support to public and private stakeholders for the design, operation, and renovation of building energy systems. Ensures improved energy performance, cost control, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver actionable, data‑driven recommendations that lead to measurable energy savings.
- Maintain strict adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting timelines and budget constraints while building lasting client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform full‑scope assessments (technical, economic, regulatory) for portfolios of buildings, heat networks, or industrial sites.
- Develop and advise on strategic energy plans and operating policies.
- Draft, negotiate, and monitor energy service contracts and other agreements.
- Provide ongoing operational oversight: performance monitoring, cost analysis, and compliance verification.
- Lead feasibility studies, design, and documentation for new installations and renovations (tender packages, technical specifications).
- Supervise construction and refurbishment activities to ensure delivery against technical, economic, and contractual requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
**Required Skills:**
- In‑depth knowledge of building physics and thermal systems, including renewable technologies.
- Proficiency in energy modeling and simulation tools (e.g., TRNSYS, IES, COMFOS).
- Strong project management, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear technical documentation.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bac+5 (Master’s level) or equivalent engineering degree in Thermodynamics, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent are advantageous.
