Job Title: GenAI Web Senior Engineer (1099 Contract to Hire)
Role Summary: Lead delivery of GenAI solutions for enterprise clients, architecting and implementing full‑stack web applications with Next.js/React, TypeScript, and cloud-native microservices. Design data pipelines, APIs, and AI integration using OpenAI, Bedrock, Vertex, and vector databases. Provide presales engagement, project oversight, and documentation to ensure on‑time, on‑budget, high‑quality delivery.
Expectations: • Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident. • 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in consulting, cloud services, and full‑stack development. • Proven presales and client‑facing experience. • 5+ years building in Next.js/React (TypeScript) and microservices; 2+ years Python; strong DevOps, NoSQL, SQL, and vector database expertise. • Comfort leading teams, managing priorities, and communicating with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver GenAI professional services engagements, from solution design to production deployment.
- Build and expose AI and data APIs, create data pipelines for indexing and serving AI models.
- Oversee implementation lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales, account, and architecture teams to align technical and business goals.
- Develop UI/UX components using Tailwind or Bootstrap, coordinating with designers.
- Create and maintain production‑grade, service‑oriented architecture.
- Produce technical content (blogs, white papers) to support sales and thought leadership.
- Stay current on industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, time management, and workflow organization.
Required Skills:
- Full‑stack development (Next.js/React, TypeScript).
- Microservices architecture and implementation.
- Python (2+ years).
- Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
- NoSQL, SQL, and vector database experience.
- API design and integration.
- UI frameworks: Tailwind or Bootstrap CSS.
- LangChain framework usage.
- OpenAI, Bedrock, or Vertex API integration.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong documentation, prioritization, and detail orientation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Cloud certifications preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect.
- Additional certifications in AI, machine learning, or data engineering are a plus.
