**Job Title** CSU Assistant (Internship) **Role Summary** Support the Customer Service Unit in both Registration Management and Programme Management for conferences and events. Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and speakers throughout the event lifecycle, handling communications, logistics, and administrative tasks in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment. **Expectations** - Assertive, proactive, and client‑centric attitude. - Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset. - Excellent time‑management and ability to work under pressure. - Flexible and agile, especially during peak periods. - Quick learner who adapts rapidly to changing priorities. - EU citizen or holder of a valid student visa (UK post‑Brexit). - Available for 6–12 months. **Key Responsibilities** *Registration Management* - Set up and coordinate registrations for multiple projects. - Manage delegate communications, including invoice adjustments, cancellations, and refunds. - Provide onsite participant assistance during physical events when required. *Programme Management* - Support speaker management: secure signed agreements, collect bios, photos, and other deliverables. - Assist with virtual event logistics and onsite speaker welcoming. - Ensure presentations are received and uploaded to the Speaker Ready Room. - Liaise with AV partners to maintain content quality. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and verbal communication in English (second EU language preferred). - Persuasive negotiation and strong interpersonal skills with cross‑cultural awareness. - Presentation and telephone etiquette confidence. - Basic understanding of profit & loss statements and business finance. - Analytical mindset with high attention to detail. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (or equivalent) in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field. - Internship must be a required component of the academic program.

Job Title: DiscoverEU Travel & Registration Assistant Role Summary: Provide hands‑on support for travel coordination, participant assistance, and registration processes for the DiscoverEU EU‑wide train‑travel programme. Expectations: Full‑time internship (3–6 months), proactive use of professional tools, GDPR‑compliant data handling, collaboration with a multilingual team, readiness to learn and deliver solutions.
