Sr. AI Engineer
Role Summary
Design, build, and operate autonomous AI agent systems that gather context, make decisions, and coordinate with external tools. Lead implementation of secure, observable, and governed runtime environments, ensure safe and aligned agent behavior, and continuously optimize workflows to enhance human capability.
Expactations
- 6–10+ years of software development and AI engineering experience.
- Strong Python programming skills; experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS; related certifications a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to develop reasoning, control, and governance mechanisms for autonomous agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement agent context gathering, decision-making, coordination, and API integration processes.
- Design and enforce security, observability, and governance for agent runtime environments.
- Build robust agent runtime architecture supporting cognition and safe operation.
- Develop reasoning and control frameworks to enable intelligent, risk‑aware agent actions.
- Optimize AI workflows to augment human tasks without introducing friction or safety concerns.
- Monitor, debug, and refine agent behavior using telemetry, evaluation signals, and iterative improvement.
- Establish guardrails, alignment checks, and governance policies for autonomous operations.
Required Skills
- Advanced programming in Python with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
- Experience with AI and generative AI platforms/frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and related best practices.
- Proficiency in building secure, observable, and governed AI systems.
- Ability to design safety and alignment protocols for autonomous agents.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- AI or Generative AI certifications preferred.
- AWS certifications beneficial.
