Job Description: Job title: Product Designer (Internship) Role Summary: Collaborate with the Head of Design and Product Owner to design innovative AI-driven user experiences for a new SaaS product, while maintaining and enhancing the design system and ensuring seamless developer handoff. Expectations: 6‑month academic internship (end‑of‑study), autonomous and proactive contribution to product strategy, daily user support, and participation in cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests) to uncover AI‑related needs. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity mockups in Figma. - Evolve the design system: add, refine, and document reusable components. - Produce marketing visuals in collaboration with the marketing team. - Coordinate with back‑end and front‑end developers for technical implementation. - Offer one hour of daily client support to stay aligned with user feedback. Required Skills: - Proficient in Figma, including component libraries and design systems. - Strong understanding of UX research methods and iteration. - Knowledge of generative AI tools (GPT, Midjourney, Claude…) and their integration in product design. - Excellent communication, detail orientation, and self‑directed workflow. - Bonus: HTML/CSS, motion design, or Adobe Creative Suite experience. Required Education & Certifications: - Current student or recent graduate (Bac +4/5) in Product Design, UX/UI, Interactive Design, or equivalent. - Portfolio demonstrating prior design projects and process.
