Job title: Cloud and DevOps Software Engineer (React / Azure)
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain cloud‑native solutions for medical devices, robotics, and industrial equipment. Employ Azure, Git, and container technologies to deliver secure, compliant, and high‑quality software across fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
Expectations:
- Self‑directed execution of all software development lifecycle phases.
- Deliver on schedule, within scope and budget, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Proactively communicate design decisions and resolve stakeholder feedback.
- Demonstrate strong initiative and independence in ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client technical staff and internal cross‑functional teams.
- Translate detailed requirements into software solutions using Azure services.
- Manage source control, branching strategies, and issue tracking (Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Design, implement, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and database sync for mobile clients.
- Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes.
- Provision infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Apply Agile practices: sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews.
Required Skills:
- 5–10 years experience in cloud and DevOps engineering.
- Azure ecosystem: Azure App Service, Functions, AKS, Storage, Networking.
- Git, branching, CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines).
- RESTful API design, authentication, versioning, and testing.
- Database sync patterns for mobile applications.
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Helm, namespaces.
- IaC with Terraform or ARM, scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
- Programming: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent.
- Unit testing, automated integration tests, and API mock frameworks.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preference for Azure‑related certifications (AZ‑900, AZ‑104, AZ‑303/304) or similar DevOps credentials.
