Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Solutions Consultant **Role Summary** Serve as the primary technical and functional advisor throughout the sales cycle for a CPM SaaS solution. Partner with Account Executives and finance leaders to uncover pain points, design tailored solutions, and deliver impactful demos and workshops that demonstrate measurable business value. **Expactations** - Engage directly with senior executives (CFOs, FP&A directors, RevOps) to position the platform as a strategic advantage. - Own the end‑to‑end pre‑sales process, including discovery, RFP responses, proof‑of‑concepts, and deal strategy. - Translate complex financial planning and reporting requirements into actionable technical solutions. - Provide iterative feedback to Product and Engineering on field insights and product road‑map priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead discovery sessions to map client pain points, planning workflows, and data challenges. - Design and deliver customized product demos, prototypes, and workshops that illustrate ROI. - Draft and respond to technical and functional RFP requests, workshops, and PoC engagements. - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer insights and shape roadmap. - Influence deal strategy with sales teams, focusing on value‑based selling and competitive differentiation. - Guide prospects on best practices in planning, modeling, reporting, and integrations. - Establish credibility with finance leadership and technical stakeholders. **Required Skills** - 5+ years in CPM/EPM/FP&A technology (Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, Board, Vena, Jedox, Pigment, etc.). - Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. - Proven pre‑sales/solution consulting experience in a SaaS environment. - Strong demo design and execution skills with clear value storytelling. - Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging senior executives. - Analytical mindset: ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Startup‑ready mindset: proactive, collaborative, and capable of wearing multiple hats. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field. - Relevant certifications in CPM/EPM platforms (e.g., Anaplan Certified Practitioner, Adaptive PM, Planful Certified Professional) are a plus.
