Job Description
Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager (BD Manager) Role Summary: Lead commercial growth for the Toxicology, DMPK, and Analytical services portfolio within the Laboratory Testing Division, targeting senior decision makers in pharma and biotech. Drive revenue through new client acquisition, strategic partnership development, and market expansion. Expectations: • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for IND and NDA service deals. • Identify and prioritize high‑potential regional markets. • Represent the division at the highest stakeholder levels and maintain advanced industry relationships. • Actively support product launch and marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Source, negotiate, and close IND and NDA service contracts with existing and new pharma/biotech clients. • Conduct market analysis to discover growth pockets and tailor sales strategies accordingly. • Collaborate with corporate product management and marketing to execute localized launch programs. • Build and sustain relationships with key opinion leaders, regulatory bodies, and medical societies. • Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical sales conversations. • Provide post‑sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and contract renewals. Required Skills: • Proven business‑development track record (≥3 years) in CRO/Pharma/Biotech services. • Deep knowledge of integrated laboratory testing (Toxicology, DMPK, Analytical) and related regulatory frameworks. • Strong negotiation, closing, and account‑management abilities. • Excellent communication: verbal, presentation, and written. • Analytical mindset with capability to interpret scientific data and financial metrics. • Problem‑solving skills for high‑complexity sales scenarios. • Leadership drive, high integrity, and a competitive spirit. • Cross‑cultural communication and ability to work with international teams. • Willingness to travel up to 50% and work remotely. Required Education & Certifications: • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, etc.). • Advanced degrees (MBA, M.S., or Ph.D. in Life Science) preferred but not mandatory. ***No specific certifications required.***
