**Job Title:** Full Stack Developer **Role Summary:** Develop and enhance a SaaS accounting platform by delivering end‑to‑end features across the front‑end and back‑end, ensuring high performance, reliability, and a seamless user experience. Collaborate with leadership and a small engineering team to translate product roadmap items into production‑ready code while shaping development processes. **Expectations:** - Deliver functional features quickly without sacrificing quality. - Independently navigate and improve an existing codebase. - Communicate effectively within a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. - Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of tasks and solving problems with minimal direction. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain front‑end components using React (or comparable frameworks). - Develop, refactor, and optimize back‑end services with Python/Django. - Write and debug SQL queries for relational databases. - Integrate and troubleshoot third‑party APIs, notably QuickBooks Online. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to GCP monitoring and debugging. - Influence development culture, processes, and standards to improve team autonomy. **Required Skills:** - Python and Django (backend) – strong foundation. - JavaScript with modern front‑end library/framework (React preferred). - Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. - Experience shipping SaaS or startup features end‑to‑end. - Ability to balance rapid iteration with code precision. - Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable with frequent context‑switching. - Entrepreneurial, self‑directed work style. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
