**Job Title** Head of Product & Technology **Role Summary** Lead the product strategy and modernization of a rail logistics software platform. Translate technical architecture into market‑ready product roadmaps, oversee a high‑performing engineering team, and drive the transition from legacy systems to a modern stack (Python, Vue3, MySQL, cloud). **Expectations** - Define long‑term product vision aligned with organizational goals. - Modernize the product stack and database architecture. - Build, mentor, and scale a cross‑functional product and engineering team. - Deliver data‑driven product decisions and measurable outcomes. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to launch new capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Articulate product strategy and roadmap, setting priorities and timelines. - Lead modernization initiatives (codebase refactor, database redesign, infrastructure migration). - Recruit, develop, and retain a high‑performing product team. - Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback loops. - Define, track, and report key product metrics to senior leadership. - Foster cross‑functional collaboration among engineering, design, marketing, and sales. - Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategy. **Required Skills** - Product management in a complex, technical SaaS environment. - Deep understanding of modern stacks: Python, Vue3, MySQL, APIs, cloud infrastructure. - Proven track record delivering large‑scale modernization or refactor projects. - Strong analytical, data‑driven decision‑making. - Experience in database architecture, data modeling, query optimization. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork. - Leadership – talent acquisition, retention, and scaling of product teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. - 5–7 years of product management or product leadership experience. - Certifications in product management or agile frameworks preferred but not mandatory.
