**Job Title**
Network Security Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and maintain complex network and security infrastructures for clients. Lead on‑site and remote projects, resolve incidents, produce documentation, and provide technical consulting and training to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient security environments.
**Expectations**
- Deliver end‑to‑end network/security architecture solutions independently.
- Provide second‑ and third‑level incident response.
- Author administration and operational manuals according to company standards.
- Advise clients on security projects, transfer knowledge, and develop training materials.
- Estimate technical feasibility and costs for proposals, identify commercial opportunities, and stay current with emerging technologies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct architecture design, implementation, and testing of secure network infrastructures.
- Develop and apply security strategies to resolve complex problems, documenting solutions.
- Manage incident escalation, resolution, and post‑incident analysis.
- Draft clear, comprehensive manuals and SOPs for network/security operations.
- Deliver consulting sessions and propose optimization initiatives to clients.
- Create training content and facilitate knowledge transfer during onboarding.
- Evaluate technical solutions, estimate effort, and prepare service description documents.
- Estimate costs for bid processes and support commercial outreach.
- Monitor technology trends, evaluate new tools, and recommend improvements.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of firewall technologies: Forcepoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Stormshield (and equivalent).
- Proficiency with enterprise switches: Cisco Catalyst, HPE Aruba (plus others).
- Experience with NAC solutions (ClearPass, Aruba Central).
- Wi‑Fi technologies: HPE Aruba, Ruckus, Meraki, etc.
- Familiarity with authentication/privileged‑access tools (Wallix Bastion), load balancers (F5).
- Strong understanding of OS security, network protocols, and security controls.
- Analytical, synthesis, and technical writing abilities.
- Fluent in English (oral and written).
- Self‑driven, organized, collaborative, empathetic, and adaptable to evolving environments.
- Ability to define, document, and enforce procedures and best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications strongly preferred: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, vendor‑specific (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks NSE, Cisco CCNP Security).
