Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise ASP.NET applications for a SaaS platform. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable software that serves finance clients across the UK and Europe. **Expectations:** - Deliver robust, well‑tested code that meets business requirements. - Lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy ASP.NET (4.8+) web applications using C# and JavaScript. - Write efficient T‑SQL queries and manage data in SQL Server. - Create and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests. - Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards. - Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to define scope and acceptance criteria. - Manage source code using Git and integrate with Azure DevOps pipelines. - Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root‑cause analysis. - Document technical designs, API specifications, and user guides. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET (4.8+). - Solid experience with JavaScript and modern front‑end frameworks. - Expertise in SQL Server and T‑SQL development. - Familiarity with Visual Studio and VS Code IDEs. - Proficiency in Git version control and experience with Azure DevOps. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience. - Relevant .NET or Azure certifications preferred but not mandatory.
