Job Description: Job Title: Purchasing Assistant Internship Role Summary: Internship supporting the Group Purchasing Manager across a luxury hospitality portfolio, managing procurement activities for a €19 M spend and 700+ suppliers. Expectations: Provide timely, accurate support in tender creation, supplier negotiations, contract drafting, and data management while learning cross‑functional procurement processes. Key Responsibilities - Draft and launch purchase tenders and RFQs. - Participate in supplier negotiations and ensure alignment of terms. - Prepare contracts and commercial agreements in collaboration with the Legal department. - Assist restaurant and site directors with procurement inquiries. - Track and improve purchasing processes and cost‑savings initiatives. - Conduct market and supplier performance surveillance (price updates, lead times). - Maintain and update the supplier database, product catalogues, and contract repository. - Offer operational support across teams on purchasing data and procurement requests. Required Skills - Strong foundational knowledge of purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain principles. - Understanding of the hospitality/F&B sector. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data and analysis. - Excellent organization, self‑direction, motivation and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. - English language proficiency is an advantage. Required Education & Certifications - Current student or recent graduate in Procurement, Supply‑Chain, Commercial Management, or related field. - First‑year or second‑year business studies acceptable; completion of a relevant apprenticeship or training program preferred.
