Job Description

Job Title: Healthcare Data Analyst Role Summary: Provide analytical support for clinical and operational initiatives by processing claims, EHR, and provider datasets to generate insights that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Expactations: • 1–4 years of relevant experience in data analytics or a related field. • Proficiency with SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau). • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy regulations. • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare stakeholders and translate data findings into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze healthcare datasets (claims, EHR, patient records) to identify trends and support clinical decision‑making. - Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for operations, quality metrics, and compliance reporting. - Extract and manipulate data from enterprise databases using SQL and Excel. - Track KPIs such as patient outcomes, hospital utilization, and treatment effectiveness in partnership with stakeholders. - Perform data quality checks, validation, and documentation for clinical and operational datasets. - Assist in building predictive models for patient risk analysis and healthcare utilization forecasting. Required Skills: - SQL (query writing, database schema understanding) - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) - Power BI or Tableau (dashboard creation, data visualization) - Healthcare data analytics (claims, EHR, provider data) - HIPAA compliance knowledge Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related discipline. - Any certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or healthcare informatics (e.g., Certified Health Data Analyst, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) are preferred.
