Job Description
**Job Title** Medical Advisor **Role Summary** Provide expert medical support to the Territorial Director and multidisciplinary teams. Deliver confidential medical opinions, ensure compliance with data protection, and act as the conduit between the regional health agency and external partners. Contribute to the implementation of regional and departmental health projects and serve as the primary medical liaison for complex cases involving public safety, mental health, palliative care, and health system coordination. **Expectations** - Offer timely, evidence‑based medical guidance for strategic decisions. - Maintain the agency’s reputation as a trusted medical authority. - Drive collaborative projects that advance regional health objectives. - Uphold strict confidentiality of patient data and medical information. **Key Responsibilities** - Advise the Territorial Director, steering committee, and development officers on medical aspects of dossiers. - Coordinate and supervise cross‑departmental or dedicated case files, including mental health, psychiatric pathways, palliative care, and public health services. - Lead the physicians’ coordination group in nursing homes (EHPAD). - Facilitate relationships with local health professionals, CPAM, and departmental councils. - Provide medical expertise on specialized dossiers (sectarian practices, radicalization, crisis management, and child protection). - Consult on complaint handling and crisis situations involving high‑risk patients. - Manage and monitor projects assigned by the Territorial Director, ensuring alignment with public policy. - Participate in steering committees, inspections, audits, and crisis committees as required. **Required Skills** - Clinical medical expertise and understanding of the French health system. - Knowledge of public health principles and policy implementation. - Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and lead working groups. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Strong analytical and decision‑making capability. - Commitment to data confidentiality and ethical standards. **Required Education & Certifications** - Qualified physician (MD) classified as Category A/MISP, RIFSEEP Group 1 (or equivalent). - Generalist or specialist with hospital or clinical practice experience. - Optional public health training or certification enhances competitiveness. ---
