**Job Title:** Chief Technology Officer **Role Summary:** Lead the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of a data‑heavy SaaS platform for direct material sourcing. Drive innovation, operational excellence, and product quality while scaling engineering teams and aligning technology with business goals. **Expectations:** * Own and evolve the company’s technical strategy and product roadmap. * Build, mentor, and retain a high‑performance global engineering organization. * Ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of software solutions that meet user experience and performance standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Define and execute the technical strategy in partnership with executive leadership. * Oversee development, release, and support of core SaaS products. * Manage offshore and distributed teams, optimizing productivity and cross‑cultural collaboration. * Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their impact on product and business value. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality. * Maintain strong technical relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders. * Communicate technical direction and progress to non‑technical executives and investors. * Participate in fundraising efforts and articulate technology value to potential investors. **Required Skills:** * 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in leadership. * Proven ability to scale data‑intensive SaaS solutions in early‑stage environments. * Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and DevOps practices. * Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern application architecture. * Experience managing offshore or remote engineering teams across cultures. * Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. * Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution. * Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and data analytics is a plus. * Project management skills with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities. * Fundraising and venture‑capital engagement experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Relevant certifications in cloud architecture, Agile, or project management are desirable.
