**Job Title:** Chief Business Officer (Fundraising)
**Role Summary:**
Lead the full capital strategy for a seed‑stage healthcare company, managing equity, debt, and public‑private fundraising from Seed through Series A. Build and nurture investor relationships, craft pitch materials and financial models, negotiate terms, and drive partnership development to support growth and workforce‑development objectives.
**Expectations:**
- Personally raise $10 M+ in capital across venture, private equity, family offices, or blended sources.
- Execute a complete fundraising cycle, from strategy to closing, and maintain ongoing investor engagement.
- Deliver compelling financial narratives that align with mission‑aligned capital sources, including healthcare, real‑estate, and workforce‑development investors.
- Drive financial planning, impact modeling, and budget alignment to support operational milestones.
- Establish and manage relationships with healthcare systems, universities, and government agencies to expand the organization’s footprint.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute capital‑raise strategy (Seed‑Series A) across equity, debt, and public‑private channels.
- Leverage existing investor networks and cultivate new relationships with healthcare‑focused funds, family offices, impact investors, and VCs.
- Create and refine investor decks, financial models, memos, and data rooms that meet both private and governmental incentive program requirements.
- Manage communication, diligence, and term‑sheet negotiations in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Build advanced financial and impact models that integrate clinic operations, workforce development, and real‑estate components.
- Align budgets, forecasts, and funding milestones with operational teams.
- Identify and structure partnerships with healthcare systems, educational institutions, and government agencies.
- Conduct investor storytelling, pitch meetings, and long‑term capital planning sessions.
