**Job Title**
Intellectual Property & IT Lawyer (IP/IT Jurist)
**Role Summary**
Provide strategic and operational legal support to Pullup Entertainment and its subsidiaries on all matters related to intellectual property, information technology, and asset valorisation. Work closely with creative, technical, and marketing teams, supervise a junior jurist, and help shape the group’s legal processes and tools.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 4‑5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
- Proven expertise in IP (trademarks, copyrights, licences) and IT contracts (SaaS, PaaS, software development, maintenance, cybersecurity).
- Experience in international or multi‑entity environments; background in video games or creative industries is a plus.
- Ability to manage trademark portfolios and negotiate complex contracts.
- Professional fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated analytical rigor, business‑oriented mindset, and strong communication/pedagogical skills.
- Prior supervisory or mentorship experience is desirable.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **IP Strategy & Asset Management:** Manage and expand the global trademark portfolio; oversee filings, renewals, oppositions, and disputes; contribute to protection and commercialisation of IP assets (brands, copyrights, licences).
- **Licensing & Rights Exploitation:** Secure contractual chains for IP rights; protect creative assets (characters, music, artwork); negotiate inbound and outbound licence agreements; advise on partnership and exploitation projects.
- **IT Contracts:** Draft, negotiate and maintain contracts for SaaS, PaaS, software development, maintenance, licences, middleware and cybersecurity; identify and mitigate IP and liability risks in IT projects; develop standard IT contract templates.
- **Supervision:** Lead a junior jurist; oversee production‑service contracts with studios, freelancers and suppliers; support junior’s professional development.
- **Legal Process & Structure:** Improve IT, IP and production legal processes; contribute to group‑wide legal tools (CLM, templates, internal guides); assist in scaling the legal function across the organization.
- **Training & Knowledge Transfer:** Design and deliver internal legal training; create pedagogical tools for operational teams.
- **Legal Monitoring:** Maintain active watch on IP, IT and video‑game law developments; anticipate regulatory changes affecting the business.
**Required Skills**
- Strong knowledge of French and international IP law (trademarks, copyrights, licences).
- Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex IT contracts.
- Portfolio management and trademark filing expertise.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teaching skills for non‑legal audiences.
- Project‑oriented work style with ability to collaborate across diverse functions.
- Leadership/mentoring capability.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master 2 (or equivalent) in Intellectual Property Law, Digital Law, Contract Law, or a related field.
- Professional qualification or bar admission is optional but advantageous.
