**Job Title:** Machine Learning Engineer – Internship **Role Summary:** Develop and deploy data‑driven models to predict and optimize wing performance for wind‑assisted ship propulsion. Work on time‑series forecasting, vessel performance analysis, and physics‑enhanced ML models. **Expectations:** - End‑of‑studies level; 5‑year engineering degree (Master’s level) in AI or ML. - Hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end AI projects. - Strong analytical, organized, autonomous, and collaborative mindset. - Fluent in English for technical communication. **Key Responsibilities:** - Discover and understand OceanWings technology and performance modeling challenges. - Collaborate with performance team to explore data and review scientific literature. - Build and refine time‑series forecasting models for wing performance prediction. - Apply machine learning to enhance vessel performance analysis. - Integrate ML techniques into physics‑based simulations to improve accuracy. - Optimize data pipelines and maintain robust model integration and monitoring. - Document methodology, model architecture, and technical decisions. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow). - Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods. - Ability to research and apply state‑of‑the‑art ML techniques. - Experience with end‑to‑end AI project development. **Required Education & Certifications:** - 5‑year engineering degree (Master’s level) specializing in Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning.
