**Job Title** Rotational Technology Intern **Role Summary** A short‑term internship that rotates through multiple Innovative Technology Solutions teams at a large HR‑tech organization. Interns develop software, learn the full SDLC, and contribute to coding, testing, and deployment of applications. The role emphasizes learning through mentorship, agile collaboration, and hands‑on experience with contemporary tech stacks. **Expectations** - Complete 6‑12 month rotational schedule, spending 2–3 months per tech team. - Attend training sessions, code reviews, and design meetings. - Deliver functional code pieces and documentation under mentor guidance. - Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. - Demonstrate progress to senior leaders and teammates at rotation endpoints. **Key Responsibilities** - Work within agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver sprint commitments. - Collaborate with product owners and solution designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Write, test, and maintain application code using languages such as Java, C#, SQL, Perl, XML. - Follow design standards, coding guidelines, and quality assurance practices. - Join systems integration testing, bug triage, and deployment activities. - Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and assist in knowledge transfer for new releases. **Required Skills** - Programming proficiency in at least one of: Java, C#, SQL, Perl, XML. - Understanding of object‑oriented programming, data structures, and basic database concepts. - Familiarity with software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, version control). - Ability to learn new tools, frameworks, and technologies quickly. - Strong written and verbal communication; collaboration in cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment or graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Minimum GPA 3.25 (preferred). ---
