Job title: Endpoint Management Support Engineer
Role Summary: Deliver advanced technical support for endpoint devices, primarily using Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft 365 tools, to ensure secure, compliant, and operationally efficient device environments. Act as escalation point for complex issues and contribute to strategy and automation initiatives.
Expactations: 4+ years of IT support or desktop/end‑point administration experience; bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent; strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills; willingness to support after‑hours and travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on endpoint devices.
- Manage and maintain endpoints through Microsoft Intune, MECM, Jamf, and other MDM solutions.
- Deploy and configure operating systems, applications, and security policies.
- Implement and monitor security controls, compliance settings, and identity management via Microsoft Entra ID.
- Create and maintain endpoint management documentation, processes, and status reports.
- Design and implement automation (e.g., PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API) to improve efficiency.
- Track, prioritize, and close help‑desk tickets using the internal ticketing system.
- Provide on‑site technical support at various office locations when remote resolution is insufficient.
- Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support rotations.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and MECM.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Android, iOS operating systems and their interaction with Intune.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID: users, groups, conditional access, RBAC, PIM, SSO.
- Strong endpoint security fundamentals (access control, encryption, threat detection).
- Advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, and networking problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain complex issues to non‑technical audiences.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell) and Microsoft Graph API for automation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, desktop, or endpoint administration.
- Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
